“Coaching is the most rewarding work I do.   It is by far the most positive and effective way to help a person realise their true potential.”

I am an experienced and qualified coach with 1000s of hours of coaching under my belt.

I have coached women, men and teams across a range of industries.

I have experienced the most amazing shifts in the people I have worked with. I have seen them rise to challenges and achieve in ways that they never thought they would.

Coaching has had tangible, measurable impacts on their personal and professional lives.

Here’s a quick snapshot of my CV.

About Sarah

Me and My Career

I’ve been a career head - working big hours on big roles and projects.

I’ve worked part-time and studied.

I’ve taken a break to look after my children and loved ones when they’ve been ill.

I've worked in places with the most amazing cultures and leaders, and I’ve worked in places with toxic cultures and group think.

I’ve put my neck on the line for my team and challenged organisational leadership and culture.

I’ve had major success and I’ve grown from the hard knocks of failure.

I love a good model or framework to guide thinking.

I love working with individuals and teams to solve complex problems and manage change.

I believe that good leadership can deliver great things for our customers, our people, our teams and society.

My Fulfilling Life

I love my work; connecting with women to support them in building the professional and personal lives they want - it’s so satisfying working in a space where feel you belong, you can contribute and serve others.

And I love my home life and my new happy place with my sheep - who along with my kids, my partner and my chickens are part of my new fulfilling life.

In 2021 - we moved from the beautiful Brighton beach to the Adelaide Hills. But I am still proudly a Marilyn and with my trusty sidekick Paul, there is so much fun to be had.

It’s not the first time I’ve moved location to reshape my life into something new; to build it into a life that works for me and my family.

A lot has happened in two years - like getting to grips with my new ride on mower and my first chainsaw, building new friendships and maintaining those with my very special friends who live down the hill.

I dreamt of a place to dance and I now have my very own she-shed where I can blast my music and live out my childhood dream of being a dancer. It’s also the place I attend international conferences in the middle of the night - absolute bliss for me - no responsibilities and immersing myself in learning. It’s not for everyone and that’s ok but it’s important to me.

I love that my children can open the door and run freely. I love their excitement of seeing a new visitor to our land. Especially when the local peacock arrives on an unscheduled visit.

Of course I miss people, places and things from my beach life.

And yes I haven’t grown anything but weeds in the veggie garden. But I can - if and when I want to.

I also haven’t done as much exercise or entertaining as I planned to do - but hey that will come.

I’ve settled my children into their school, started the renovations and have got my head and heart through one fire season.

I love scouring the local op shops and vintages shops for that ionic dress that I can wear out when I go dancing.

I have a 1963 VESPA scooter called Marilyn… who is older than me and definitely has a bigger and better bottom.

Oh and one of my best days ever was when my friends and I met our favourite artist - Paul Weller - before attending his gig at the Opera House in Sydney. What absolute bliss for all of us.

My life is a work in progress, it’s not perfect but it’s great for me - most of the time!
