Duration

Our Coaching program generally runs for 6 coaching sessions over a timescale that works for you.  On average it ranges from 3 -6 months.

Connect

The aim of this chat is to see if it makes sense for us to work together - to see if we click.

Having a good connection with your coach is essential to you getting the results you want.

We’ll talk about what you are looking for and I will share how coaching can help you move forward.

We’ll talk about the process, timeframe and cost including what adjustments we need to make so it fits into your life.

We can connect face to face, over the phone or virtually - whatever suits you.

Prior to catching up, you will receive an email to help you prepare for the meeting.

After our meeting, if you are happy to proceed, you will receive a coaching contract to review and sign. Once a signed copy is received we will set up dates for our planning session and the first three coaching sessions.

Confidentiality

Please note confidentiality underpins the coaching relationship. If your coaching is funded by your organisation - information will only be shared at your request and with your approval.

Should your organisation require a signed confidentiality contract - I am happy to do so. Please speak to your People/ HR Lead to determine if this is required.

Plan

In this planning session,  we will spend an hour talking about where you are now and where you want to be to create a more fulfilling life. We will talk about the goals you want to achieve. We will explore your strengths, what is working for you now and what you would like to change. Feel free to bring any information with you such as feedback, personality and behavioural profiling.

We will agree 3 specific areas to focus on during the coaching. You will be asked to think about what these areas look like in 3, 6, 9 and 12 months to ensure we are clear about the outcomes you require.

A coaching action plan detailing this will be emailed to you for you to review, amend and sign off. You may want to amend the plan as you will have had time to think more deeply about what you are looking for.

This plan is our guide throughout our time together so we can keep on track and review progress at the 3 and 6 session point.

Once we have agreed the plan we are ready to get coaching!

Please note : Where your coaching is being funded by your organisation - there is the opportunity, if you choose, to include your line manager in the process.

Coach

Coaching sessions are 90 minutes and we will use the coaching plan to drive our sessions. There are times when you may want to talk about an immediate /emerging issue and that’s ok too.

At the beginning of each coaching session (10 mins), we will review any progress, Aha moments, comments or questions from the last session.

We will then focus on one area from the coaching plan for around 75 minutes.

At the end of the session, we will review and agree actions that you will take forward between sessions. (5 mins)

Review

After 3 coaching sessions, we will review the plan - looking at progress to date and to make sure the areas identified are still valid.

Don’t be surprised if you want to change your plan - it happens regularly as the first three sessions may have shifted your perspective or you may already be well on the way to achieved a goal.

You will be sent a revised plan to review and sign off.

Coaching Continues

Coaching continues in line with your plan for a further 3 sessions.

Review and Next Steps

After 6 sessions we will review your progress. We will look at each goal and discuss what has changed and what you still want to work on. We will then discuss any new goals and next steps including whether you wish to continue with coaching, take a break or do something entirely different to meet your goals.

Celebrate

One of the most important aspects of coaching is taking time to celebrate your progress.  This is a focus of my coaching and we will always take time to acknowledge what you have achieved.
